A Different Approach to Sport Fishing...
Aquatech Charters offers fishing trips for Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Lake Trout, Steelhead and Brown Trout! We offer angling opportunities on a 19' Lund Pro-V! Aquatech Charters fishes Eastern Lake Erie, Upper and Lower Niagara Rivers and Western Lake Ontario!
How do YOU want to fish?
Whether you're a novice or experienced angler, it is our goal to provide a safe, successful, educational experience on the water. Captain Dave takes the time to determine your fishing experience and skill level in advance and may make recommendations as to which Boat and body of water would suit your interests and number of individuals in your group.
Some customers like to simply and quickly catch their limit of to bring home for dinner. This approach often involves trolling with multiple rods spread throughout the water column, while using state-of-the-art electronics to locate, identify and target the walleye.

Other anglers prefer to drift, bottom bounce or anchor for walleye, smallmouth bass, yellow perch or trout, opting to have each angler hold a fishing pole and presenting their bait to the fish directly. With this approach, the angler gets to "feel" the bite, hook the fish and reel it in directly. Both approaches are a personal choice that each customer can make with the advice of captain Dave during our initial conversation.

You can take your fish home with you to prepare the way you like them done or Captain Dave will fillet them for you.
Food and Drink
You are welcome to bring along a small cooler with food and drinks. Dehydration is a common occurrance when out on the water. We will always have water aboard the boat. The Predator is a wide-beam stable boat, however if you are prone to motion sickness, we advise you take whatever medicine you prefer on the evening before your charter. Avoid acidic or spicy food before your charter but be sure to eat.

Dress for Success
The weather is rarely as predicted when out on Lake Erie!!! Cool, breezy conditions are common in the morning and warmer, sunny conditions can dominate into the evening at times. Dress in layers and be prepared for a full range of temperatures one might encounter for that time of year. Wear a hat and bring along your favorite sun screen. The Predator has a canvas top which helps to protect against the beating sun, however it is important to use sun screen SPF 30 or higher when on the water.
